Emma Fairhurst
Paralegal
Emma joined Sutovic & Hartigan Solicitors in May 2022 as a Paralegal. She is an accredited Trainee Caseworker Assistant under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
Emma primarily assists with asylum and human rights claims as well as settlement applications under protection or domestic violence routes. She provides case work support for Judicial Review applications and complex human rights and trafficking cases. She works across our legal aid and private immigration teams.
Experience
Prior to joining Sutovic & Hartigan, Emma worked in Lesvos, Greece, providing emergency support to vulnerable migrants and refugees, before returning to the UK to study for a Masters in Migration and Development at SOAS. She has also worked at a Citizens Advice, providing support to local residents on a number of social welfare issues.
